Jon Sheppard grew up with an interest in photography. Traveling with his parents as a Navy child he has seen much and has had many unique experiences. Having lived in Alaska, the Caribbean, and great places in between Jon is a seasoned traveler. While in the tropics it was boat charters, SCUBA diving, and underwater photography. In Nashville it was playing drums in the music industry and doing TV productions as a cameraman.
Jon now makes his home in the Colorado high country where traveling the West and overseas is an on going affair. Besides various photography projects, he especially enjoys skiing in the winter. In fact, Jon and two friends hold a world record for skiing eighteen ski areas in one day.
In the summer you will find him out everywhere. He has guided raft trips for many years and taught rock climbing and kayaking. Exploring new and exciting places is always another adventure. Jon enjoys sharing his talents and fun with others. When you are with him, there is energy and excitement.
